Most infantry from WW2 and vietnam era think they were a bunch of screw-ups that couldn't put their pants on straight without a roadmap, handwritten directions and an entire combat squad helping them.Īs for their "specialized" and "very specific training" (which is a redundancy by the way, since "specialized" means "to have specific training") it consists of 14 weeks of advanced infantry training where they learn the basics of structural stability, carpentry, basic welding techniques and basic modern construction such as working with concrete and steel.
