I still consider Advanced mode as the "true experience" (since that's what devs intended initially), but I'm much less aggressive about Story mode nowadays. Look at the date, it's almost two years old. (Is it noticeable that I hate when people ask devs to lower their game at their level and still complain afterwards?) So basically you're saying that if people don't want to invest time and effort into a game to the point of frustration even if they CARE about they story, characters and locations the devs created, they're basically whiners who are not ReAL GamERsOld post. Now, people whine when they're stuck on the easier version, look at a walkthrough, and don't understand why their version is different ("must be a bug", "can't solve impossible", bunch of nonsense). They called that "story mode", the original game became "advanced mode". Then, some people whined about how hard the game was (not understanding it was meant to be hard, you're supposed to master Portal2 mechanics), so devs took pity on them and made a lot of tests easier to solve.
